Editing Services

Our reasonably priced critiquing and editing service is the most comprehensive of its kind. We will make your manuscript the very best it can before submission to publishers and agents.



You will be assigned your own personal editor who will contact you shortly after you join our program. Your editor will guide you through the process and will be available to answer any questions you might have. Your editor will mark your manuscript, correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation, and suggest refinements to sentence structure etc.

	Suggestions will be made for plot development, character development and other areas that could be refined or improved upon. Inconsistencies in style, facts, or plot will be highlighted. Your editor will also point out where the strengths of your story are to be found.

	A detailed report of your work will be sent to you along with a copy of your manuscript with errors etc. clearly marked on it. You may or may not adopt changes suggested by your editor and any of the issues raised in the evaluation can be discussed with your editor at any time.

We believe that it would be hard to find a more comprehensive and personal service for the price we offer.

What will we not consider?

·	Manuscripts over 200,000 words (please contact our helpdesk if your manuscript is more than 200,000 words long).

·	Manuscripts not in English.

Please note: The current waiting time before a manuscript is returned with corrections and a report is 14 - 21 days. This time will start from the moment your payment clears. If the work is not complete within the stated time you will be provided with a full refund. You must send us the work in a readable format and in English when you sign up for the service. We can, at our discretion, refuse to carry out work on a manuscript. If this happens you will be provided with a complete refund, or we will not process the payment.

The cost for this service is:

·	£1999 (UK) or $3999 (US) for manuscripts up to 100,000 words.

·	£3999 (UK) or $7500 (US) for manuscripts up to 200,000 words.

You can pay for the service by a cheque made payable to Donard Publishing sent to our address. Or you can pay over a secure server using one on the buttons below. Please contact our helpdesk before sending any payment. Other payment options are available on request.
