Q. How can I be certain of the quality of the work you do?
A. We have a very strict and rigorous quality assurance system in place. All our writers are highly experienced and carefully selected. Each project is inspected by two quality assurance editors. One inspects the work as it is being written and the other editor inspects it before it is sent to you. If either editor finds a problem with the work, it will be fixed before it reaches you. In the highly unlikely event that you do find a problem with the work when you receive it, we will work in a timely fashion to address your concerns. At the core of our business philosophy is the belief that the client always comes first, and to date we are not aware of a single dissatisfied client. Many of our clients are repeat customers, including publishers and literary agents. A significant percentage of the work we carry out comes in the form of us being asked to fix the work produced by other ghost-writers.
Q. Why haven’t you replied to my e-mail?
A. We reply to all e-mails, and normally within 12 hours of receiving them. If you did not get a reply it is because we did not get your e-mail, or our reply did not get through. Please contact us again, stating that you didn’t get an e-mail from us and we will do everything in our power to make contact with you.
Q. Do you take on clients from the U.S.?
A. Absolutely. The majority of our clients are from the United States.
Q. Do you co-author books?
A. No.
Q. Do you accept a reduced fee if I agree to give you a percentage of any profits from the book?
A. In short, no - certainly not for every book. However, some of our writers are also literary agents and sometimes they will accept a reduced fee provided they can act as your agent. They normally request 10% of all royalties and other associated earnings that the book generates. This service is very rarely offered and is only offered by certain writers/agents. It is up to you to ask the writer if they will act as your agent. Any reduction in fee must be agreed upon in writing before work begins on the project.
Q. Do you have a physical address?
Q. Do you offer credit or other easy pay options?
A. As we are not a licensed credit provider we can not offer credit. Some writers will allow you to pay for parts of the book as you go along, interest free, e.g. half at the start, and the remainder when the book is half-written. Such staged payments must be agreed between you and the writer before work begins on the project.
Q. What if I don’t like the book when it’s written, what can I do?
A. To date we have never had a problem that we could not sort out to the satisfaction of a client. All our writers are employed by us on the understanding that they will make every effort to write the project in the way the client specifies. If there is a problem, simply let us know and we will either resolve it, or pay back your money, provided the claim is legitimate.
